I have been aware of my 'Team' of Angels and Guides around me for as long as I can remember, however awareness did not mean communication.
I saw my first Medium at age 30 and her message was a strong encouragement to be working with Spirit.
I saw another one a couple of years later, and the first thing she said was – "they want to know why you are here", and reminded me again – my life was about working with Spirit.
I've had many experiences where my Angels and Guides have helped and supported me, especially during times of emotional distress.
I heard the word 'healer' many times, but all my monkey mind could think of was practical aspects such as nursing, and this idea did not resonate with me at all.
I even joined St Johns as a volunteer, but found that most of my time was spent waiting for something to happen on a sporting field.
Over the years I alternated between asking, "How I could find out more about working with Spirit?" and knowing "I didn't want to 'see dead people'".
Thankfully, it's nothing like a classic Hollywood movie!
My catalyst came when my best friend almost died from a burst aneurysm. After a successful ten hour operation he was unconscious in intensive care for four weeks.
I pleaded with my 'Team' to tell me what to do to help him – I kept hearing the word 'Reiki' over and over.
After an Aunt mentioned it as well, I found a Reiki Master running classes near me.
I arranged tuition and booked a treatment for myself. I came out so relaxed I felt like I was floating on a cloud, brimming with energy and that night I had the best, most serene sleep I'd had in years.
I couldn't wait for my next class.
I followed with more learning from various speakers and classes, looking for my 'niche' in this exciting world.
I learned various healing modalities and how to communicate with my Angels and Guides and joined a psychic circle to practice my Mediumship.
An advertisement for Forensic Healing caught my eye, and I went along to find out that this was the healing for me.
After an intensive training course I gained my diploma and now I am ready to help as many people heal, as I am able to.
